Scotby School is one of Carlisle's most popular and successful primary
schools. The school is oversubscribed for most year groups, and serves the two
attractive rural villages of Wetheral and Scotby and the eastern fringe of the city. The school has seven age groups, from Reception to Year Six, and
has ten classes- [four in the infant and six in the juniors]. There
are @ 265 pupils on the roll, class sizes range from 26-31. The current
staffing complement consists of eleven fulltime teachers, two part-time,
plus
